If Plan 9 from Outer Space is the Citizen Kane of bad movies, then Manos: The Hands of Fate is the Plan 9 from Outer Space of bad movies.

It’s got a wildly incompetent writer/director/star, a community theater cast doing their best, an offensive script, a surprisingly good soundtrack, and it was shot on a potato. It was rediscovered by Frank Conniff of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and is the basis of what I consider their best episode.
