I never thought of Janeway’s voice as “sqeekie,” or even squeaky. Always seemed kind of husky to me.

First of all, I think Keyes’ should be ranked a lot higher then he was. You have to remember he is a tactical genious (To the level of Kirk and Picard) he has taken highly inferior starships and fought against the technologically advanced numerically superior enemies at almost even ground (by himself). He even has a tactical manuever named after him.

It’s a shame he died. If he had lived through Halo Combat Evolved he would have kicked some serious ass.

Other then that. Darth Vader could have been mentioned as a star ship Captain. Aside from being a Badass Sith Lord with absolutely no mercy, even for his own team. You have to remember he was the Captain of the Super Star Destroyer Executor. Which was the most powerful entity in the galaxy before the Death Star.

If VOYAGER was not a great show and terribly uneven, then you might as well say the same about NEXT GENERATION and DEEP SPACE NINE. Um, really? Why? They're different shows. (Although they all were pretty uneven, as far as quality -- great episodes up against terrible ones). It's like saying Star Trek (2009) must suck because ST:TMP sucked. And if you dislike all Star Trek, then why do you care?

Star Trek: Voyager was not a great show. The writing was terribly uneven, with bits of genuine entertainment floating in a stew of absurd nonsense.

No more so than your list. If VOYAGER was not a great show and terribly uneven, then you might as well say the same about NEXT GENERATION and DEEP SPACE NINE. And as far as I’m concerned, THE ORIGINAL SERIES and ENTERPRISE were worse.

i think George Takei should be on this list , just to play with Shatners brain. Look up shatner interviews on youtube in this respect, hilarious . Takei hates the man, shatner has no clue why.
P.S. Credieki gets off the toxic planet , in a streaker lifeboat with a few others , destination unknown. Brin hasnt worked with this excellent aspect of the storyline as far as i know. Can anyone elaborate on this?
